Church means to me the coming together of my family and community to come together under God’s roof.
I have designed this sticker to put on the back of my car so people driving behind me will be inspired to talk to someone and get support when they are feeling sad, unhappy or down.
The way he treated people with kindness,
Loved and accepted the disabled,
Treated everyone the same.
With respect.
Gave all to everything you did.
Loved and cared for,
people as if they were no lower than you.
He would always stay humble.
Would treat people as he would treat himself.
Your smile and kind acts.
The beautiful smile that makes me happy,
Towards people.
You healed the world.
Sorrowful,
Depressed,
Pitiful.
You will always have a place in our hearts.

I have made a Lenten backpack ready for my 40 days of Lent. The Cross in my backpack represents Jesus and how he died for our sins. The holy Bible in my backpack is to help in my prayers and to share when someone is feeling down. My fasting is going to be meat on a Friday, no phone and no swearing!

Malo lelei! My name is Tuakalau. I am 11 years old. I am from Tonga in the Pacific. I am a year 7 student at St Patrick’s School, Panmure. My favourite subject in school is Maths and Religious Education. In my spare time I like to read books and draw. In Morning tea and lunch time i like to run around and hangout with my friends at the park.
The Bible represents the Father in the scriptures showing us how to live in his way.
The Cross represents the son and his death for our sins
The Dove represents the Holy Spirit and the life it breaths into us.
In term 2 my class and I were doing drama about Dragon Ball. Our teacher read 10 Dragon Ball books to us. When our teacher finished reading the books to us we wanted to write our own story about it. My teacher told my class and I to pick a character from Dragon Ball and write a new story about them but our teacher said that we can make it up.
Here is a part of my made up story I made about my character.
Once there was a man named Yamcha who was a strong fighter. He lost his parents when he was 5 years old. He was training until a kid with a tail appeared. He was nervous because he had never seen anyone for a long time. Yamcha asked the little kid with the tail what was his name and he said Goku. He asked Goku what he was doing at his hideout. He said I’m here for something called a Dragon Ball. Yamcha said “there is no Dragon Ball here”. Goku asked Yamcha if he wanted to go along with him to find the Dragon ball. Yamcha said “sure” so they both went on Goku’s motor bike to search for the Dragon ball.
The first location they went to was a village in a desert called Kambucha. When they arrived they went to small house
on the other side of Kambucha. When they got to the small house they knocked on the door and a man named Nam opened it Goku and Yamcha asked Nam if there was a Dragon Ball here Nam said no but he said that he got something called a Dragon Ball radar and said that he could take him to the Dragon Ball….. To be continued .
For our writing this week I had to research and write a biography. Here is one I published today.
Samuel Larry Anoa’i Fatu is an American retired professional wrestler. He is best known for his appearances with the World Wrestling Federation under the ring names The Tonga Kid and Tama and with World Championship Wrestling as The Samoan Savage. He was born in 11 October 1965 and his full name Samuel Larry Anoa’i Fatu. Fatu started wrestling in 1983-1988.
I chose to create a Jesse Tree on Kleki because it is a symbol of Advent. It tells us about Jesus’ Whakapapa – all his descendants right back to David.
